Holiday season is in full swing so I've curated a perfect trio of short and sweet books to read my the beach, on the plane or while waiting for everyone else to get ready.
THE SUMMER I TURNED PRETTY- Jenny Han
Starting off strong with the ultimate statement of summer right now. The Prime series has gone viral as one of the top summer watches, and Jenny Han's book is no different. A thrilling love triangle story set by the beach, the book is a must read this summer.
GOODNIGHT TOKYO- Atsuhiro Yoshida
After picking this book up just a day before my holiday, this book was impossible to put down whilst sat by the beach. It's narrative is a beautiful illustration of interconnecting lives in Tokyo, it's story told by a likeable nighttime taxi driver. Overall, the storytelling is really lovely and enjoyable.
HAPPY GIRL LUCKY- Holly Smale
Now the third and final book on my list is not really a short read- at 480 pages, it is a bulky book however that doesn't mean it's not a quick read. This book is funny, interesting and most of all, pacey. It doesn't drag along or seem boring at any point, which makes it perfect for reading on holiday.
